The personal chef works as a professional cook who goes to the client’s home (or uses a commercial kitchen if needed) to plan, prepare, and pack meals in the form of meal-prep containers. These meals can be stored for consumption throughout the week. Understanding the client’s food preferences, restrictions (allergies, intolerances), nutritional goals (weight loss, muscle gain, maintenance), and daily routine. Setting the number of meals and the frequency (e.g., meal-prep containers for 5 or 7 days).
