A Kids' Party Where the Parents Are Guests, Not Staff

"Fernanda's son Theo turned six, and Theo's best friend has celiac disease. At every previous party, that boy brought his own sad snack box from home. Fernanda booked a myChef chef for the 30-guest party and asked for one rule: every kid eats the same thing."

The chef made the entire kids' menu gluten-free — coxinhas, mini pizzas, cake-table sweets — without telling the children. Nobody noticed any difference, the celiac kid ate from every tray for the first time at a party, and his mother hugged Fernanda on the way out.
